There’s some good news for those on the housing list in Carlow – 34 new houses are to be built in the county.
24 houses will be built in Bagnelstown while 10 will be built at Rathvilly. Construction will begin in July and is expected to be finished early next year.
This follows the earlier approval of 78 new houses at Graiguecullen and 26 at Sleatty Street.
This comes on the back of an earlier story today highlighting the general trend of rent increases for private housing across both Carlow and Kilkenny.
