35th Annual Wellie Race kicks off in Castlecomer this afternoon

Castlecomer is gearing itself up for one of the most important days of the year.

The 35th annual Wellie Race will be taking place today with all the fun starting at midday and all money raised going to various charities.

One of the organisers, Chubby Brennan, spoke to KCLR News, and he says that all preparations are over now so it’s up to people to support the cause.
