Fine Gael will pick its candidates for the next General election at a special convention next Monday night.
4 names have been put forward for selection local party members will vote in Lyrath for who they want on the ballot paper.
Sitting Deputies Pat Deering and John Paul Phelan are among them. Senator Pat O Neill has thrown his hat in the ring while by-election candidate David Fitzgerald has also put his name forward.
Senator O’ Neill says they wont know until Monday how many are to be selected but he expects 3 will be.
