Production at a new distillery in Carlow will be up and running within weeks.
Walsh Whiskey say their brand new €25 million facility at Royal Oak should be fully operational by the end of March.
An official launch date has been scheduled for June.
Its bringing 12 new jobs to the area initially.
Owner Bernard Walsh told KCLR News, they were blown away by the amount of applications they received with 400 applying for the roles.
