50 new jobs are being created in Carlow and Kilkenny by Bluebird Care.
They’re part of a nationwide recruitment drive which sees the home care provider expect to hire 1,500 this year across the country.
Vacancies are open for immediate start across both counties with positions for healthcare assistants and nurses, supporting older people, and children and adults with disabilities to live safely and independently in their own homes across the South East.
Brian Egan, Managing Director of the local Bluebird Care business said, “Demand for high quality home care in Carlow and Kilkenny is growing rapidly, and these 50 new roles will allow us to keep pace with that demand. We are looking for healthcare assistants and nurses who want a meaningful career making a real difference to people in their own communities.”
“We pay competitive pay rates, cover mileage and pay for time travelling between customers, and we pay an annual bonus to all staff based on hours worked. Our team is part of one of the largest office support teams in the country, which means our frontline carers in Carlow and Kilkenny, many of whom are lone workers in the community, are properly supported with clinical advice, rostering, payroll and out of hours support.”
