The future of St Columbas Hospital in Thomastown seems to have been secured today.
A replacement building has been promised under the Department of Healths Capital plan.
Its understood the new building which will be on the current site in Thomastown will be completed within 5 years.
Minister Ann Phelan says she just got the news this morning but the full details are yet to be revealed.
