Irish Autism Action asks locals to help establish a National Autism Forum

1,610 people in Carlow and Kilkenny have been diagnosed with autism.
Irish Autism Action are looking for your support to establish a National Autism Forum to support those with the condition, along with their families and advocates.
With just 5 days to go before polling day, you’re being asked to talk to your election candidates about the importance of such a forum.
This is just one of many issues they’ve outlined in their election manifesto – another being that there should be a minimum of 10 hours home support funded for every family each week.
964 people in Kilkenny and 546 people in Carlow are autistic.
