Michael O Hanrahan will be honoured at a parade in Carlow today

The 1916 commemoration committee in Carlow are hosting the second of four events in the month of March this afternoon.
Michael O Hanrahan who was executed for his role in the 1916 Easter rising will be remembered with a parade on Barack Street at 3 o clock.
The organising committee are asking locals to go along and celebrate with them this afternoon.
Bagenalstown Sinn Feinn Councillor Andy Gladney is one of those involved, he told KCLR news that these iconic figures should be remembered.
