Kilkenny Order of Malta are now one step closer to getting a permanent home in the city.
In the organisation’s 77 years of existence locally they have only ever had temporary bases with their current one on Wolfetone Street.
However, they have now located a building which they say would be perfect as a headquarters for their almost 60 members, 2 ambulances, and their 4×4.
It’s a former physiotherapy clinic on the Waterford Road in Kilkenny with 7 rooms and ample parking and Officer in Charge of Kilkenny Order of Malta says it would open up a lot more opportunities for them to interact with the community.
