Man arrested after petrol station robbed in Kilkenny City

A petrol station has been robbed in Kilkenny city this evening.

It happened shortly after 5pm this evening at the small Topaz petrol station on the Castlecomer Road.

Garda say they arrested a man shortly afterwards in connection with robbery.

The station was very busy at the time and they’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the robbery to come forward and assist them in their investigation.
