There is a preview of a Teagasc event next week that will look at the types of bulls best suited to suckler farmers requirements. Teagasc’s Mark Slattery discussed the steps to be taken to manage a farm through the cold spell.
Eric Driver spoke about his weather experience in Tullow and comment on the types of cattle that are popular at Tullow Mart.
We also heard an excerpt from an interview with Cathal McCormack of Alltech about his changing emphasis in terms of breeding Angus cattle.
