31 people waiting on a bed at St Luke’s General Hospital for Carlow and Kilkenny today

St Luke’s General Hospital for Carlow and Kilkenny again has the country’s third-highest number of people waiting on a bed.

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation’s reporting there are 31 at the local facility, 15 in the emergency department with 16 on other wards.

45 are waiting at University Hospital Limerick with 45 at Cork University Hospital, among 251 nationwide.
