Gardaí clamp down on fake covid vaccine certs for sale on social media

Gardaí are reminding people that it’s easier to get a vaccine than to buy a fake Covid vaccine cert.

It’s after Instagram accounts advertising the fraudulent documents were identified online.

They are warning people not to purchase them.

Gardaí say it’s a crime to possess or sell the documents under the Theft and Fraud Act.
