The Carlow branch of the Irish Farmers Association has a new Chair

Carlow IFA has elected its new representatives.

Their AGM last night saw Michael Purcell take over the Chair from John Nolan.

While Daniel McNally is the county’s Regional Executive.

It comes at a time when farmers have been quite strong in moving to show their annoyance at challenges in the sector with protests sweeping the country.
