It’s International Women’s Day and there are lots of ways to celebrate the female of the species across Carlow and Kilkenny.
Whether it’s doing something nice for those in your own family and friendship circle or generating conversation around specific issues or taking part in one of the events that’s taking place, certainly women are to the fore today.

While in Carlow quite the grouping’s been gathered for a community and business lunch at the Woodford Dolmen Hotel.
