The CEO of County Carlow Chamber of Commerce is stepping down from the role.
Brian O’Farrell has served in the position for the last eight years but is now ready to pass the mantle on.
He’ll be outlining his decision on The KCLR Daily later this morning.
But speaking to KCLR News, he says it’s time for change noting; “I just felt it was the right time for myself, I think it’s right for the Chamber as well, I think it’s important especially in a role like this to have that changeover and to keep those fresh ideas and as much as I do, I really love this role, I enjoy it, it’s been very interesting and I’ve had the pleasure of working with great people and great companies over the last eight years and we’ve had some really great, interesting, fun events; there’s a lot I will miss about it but I know I’ve got friendships that have been made and will last a lifetime”.
