World Ploughing Champion, Carlow man Eamonn Tracey, faces close competition as his two sons take to the furrows

Carlow’s World Ploughing Champion Eamonn Tracey’s used to close competition – but they don’t get any closer than his own sons. 

A huge crowd turned out just a couple of weeks ago in Myshall to welcome him home following his latest global title win in Latvia.

Earlier today, we reported how he’s among our local contenders in action today at the National Ploughing Championship site in Ratheniska, Co Laois and that siblings Steve and Seán join him in the senior Conventional Class.
