The Walsh Cup may be off the agenda for 2025, but pre-season hurling is still very much a thing with Kilkenny set to go head-to-head against Waterford on Saturday afternoon.
Piltown GAA grounds (with entry via the Iverk Showgrounds) will host the game, with Kilkenny’s senior panel getting a first run out for the year following the weather postponement of last weekend’s fixture against Dublin.
Kilkenny will be in action again on 18 January with a trip to Faithful Fields to take on Offaly, the Allianz Hurling League due to commence on 26 January.
