Over 140 homes farms and businesses across Carlow and Kilkenny have been without electricty after strong winds and heavy rainfall overnight.
100 customers in Tullow were without power since 9pm yesterday. ESB crews restored supply just before 11am this morning.
27 customers in Urlingford had no power since just before 3pm yesterday until 10am this morning while 12 homes in Ballyragget are currently without power but ESB Networks expected it to be restored by lunchtime. (12:30pm).
Elsewhere, heavy overnight rain has caused many rivers to overflow including the river Breagagh in Butts Green, and the Kings River in Callan.

Meanwhile Gardai are appealing for people to take extreme care on the roads today.
Dangerous conditions including flooding are being reported in some areas after strong winds and very heavy rainfall since yesterday.
Thomastown in Gardai are warning that the Marsh Street Car Park is flooded and the river there is continuing to rise.
Elsewhere the Annamult Road is impassable in Bennettsbridge.
In Carlow, the Town Park is closed due to elevated river levels.
