A Kilkenny hotel’s hosting Veterinary Ireland’s annual conference & AGM.
It’s underway at Lyrath Estate and attendees will get updates on the TB Action Plan and Veterinary Medicines Legislation, the vet’s role in supporting farmer wellbeing will be discussed and also the link between animal abuse and domestic abuse.
Martin Hayden TD, Minister for Agriculture, Food & The Marine officially opens the gathering which marks 25 years since the foundation of the representative body representing veterinary practitioners in Ireland.
