So runs the funeral notice for the south Kilkenny man who died in a road incident over the weekend.
Eamonn (Ned) Murphy of Ballynooney, Mullinavat died after being struck by a car at Sallypark, Waterford in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí continue to appeal for information.
Aged in his forties, he was married with one child, and much missed by his family as well as his wide circle of friends who hailed him as ‘a pure gentleman who always found time to have a quick word and a bit of craic’.
He’ll be Reposing at Donnacha Doyle & Son Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow this (Tuesday) evening before being taken tomorrow (Wednesday) to St. Beacon’s Church Mullinavat (via his residence) for Requiem Mass at 2pm after which he’ll be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
