Workers see a small increase to their wage packet in the last year

Average weekly earnings increased by just under five per cent in the third quarter of the year, when compared to the same period last year.

CSO figures show they are now valued at 1 thousand and three euro, up from 956 euro in quarter 3 2024.

The job vacancy rate at the end of the third quarter was one point three per cent that’s zero point one per cent more than last year.
