Appeal for witnesses to fatal road incident in Kildare

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information on a fatal road incident in Kildare town.

The sole occupant of the car involved, a man aged in his eighties, was pronounced dead at the scene on the Curragh Road following the crash which happened at about 1:35pm yesterday (Wednesday, 26th Nov).

His body was removed to the mortuary at Naas General Hospital for a post-mortem examination while a technical exam was carried out at the scene.
