Kilkenny councillor Eugene McGuinness seeks safe bus stops for those who face crossing ‘deathtrap’ route

A Kilkenny councillor is urging Transport for Ireland (TFI) to put in place safe bus stops for locals availing of the services.

Eugene McGuinness has described the Ring Road as a deathtrap for those who have to cross it to get on a bus.

Cllr McGuinness says discussions have taken place between local authority officials and TFI representatives and warns if we want a proper public transport system we need action now;
