Residents evacuated as County Tipperary apartment building on fire

A number of people have been rescued from fire at an apartment building in County Tipperary.

The blaze broke out yesterday evening on Bridge Street in Clonmel.

Tipperary Fire and Rescue managed to contain the fire, and a number of people were treated for smoke inhalation.

GardaÃí say the scene is preserved for a technical examination and investigations are continuing.
