“A huge relief” say Kilkenny couple as more than four year battle in High Court over plans for mobile phone mast comes to an end

The Kilkenny couple who went to the High Court in a battle to prevent a mobile phone mast close to their home, say the outcome was ‘A huge relief’. 

The structure was planned for Kells and many turned out to highlight their opposition in the village (see here).

That sparked Peter and Doreen Thompson into feeling compelled to take a case and that continued for over four years, ending last Monday when the planning body dropped its defense.
