“We don’t want our community divided by this” says south Kilkenny resident of planned wind farm

Those opposed to the proposed Ballyfasy Wind Farm are set to discuss the project.

Manogate Ltd, which is owned by FuturEnergy Ireland and ART Generation, is planning for ten 180metre-tall turbines in an area about five kms from Mullinavat. (More here).

A number of residents are unhappy with the proposals and have six weeks to get in their submissions.
