A community engagement event was held at the Marine Point building in Belview last evening at which Councillor Fidelis Doherty told KCLR News a Community Benefit Fund would become available should the project gain approval, noting; “It gives communities and clubs and organisations within the general catchment area of Glenmore, of Tullogher, of Mullinavat, of Kilmacow, they will get that opportunity to make application once they make criteria and that but it’s the stuff of dreams, things that would never get to happen so it’s a positive feedback to the community and for the communities just to say it wouldn’t be done without this opportunity”.
