Gardaí investigating the disappearance and murders of Jo Jo Dullard from Kilkenny and Kildare woman Deirdre Jacob have begun a search of lands in County Wicklow.
The area of open ground is at a location in county Wicklow, close to its border with Kildare and will be subject to excavation, technical and forensic examinations in the coming days.
The operation’s being led by the Serious Crime Review Team, Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation, aided by the Garda National Technical Bureau as well as local resources, with other State expertise available if and as required.
Families of both women are being updated by investigators and are aware of this morning’s development.
