It was another standout day at the Cheltenham Festival for Willie Mullins.
His runner Il Etait Temps stormed to victory in the Queen Mother Champion Chase, with Paul Townend in the saddle.
Pre-race favourite Majborough could only finish seventh.
It was not Mullins’ only success of the afternoon. The champion trainer also enjoyed earlier wins with King Rasko Grey in the Novices’ Hurdle and Kitzbuhel in the Novices’ Chase — rounding off another hugely successful day for the stable.
Day three of the festival gets underway today at 1.20pm, with the Stayers’ Hurdle scheduled for 3.20pm and the Ryanair Chase going to post at 4pm.
