A man’s been arrested by those investigating a serious assault in county Kildare.
A man aged in his thirties remains in Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries sustained in the incident on North Main Street, Naas in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The person arrested yesterday (Tuesday), who’s aged in his twenties, has been detained at a Garda Station in Kildare under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He’s due to appear before Naas District Court this (Wednesday) morning.
