Animal rescue team in ’emergency dash’ to Kilkenny

A well-known animal rescue charity had an emergency dash to Kilkenny last night.

My Lovely Horse mobilised personnel from Kildare to deal with a pony found with a severe open wound and significant swelling on its leg.

The team say they got caught up in the diesel demonstration but were aided by Gardaí who provided an escort.

On arrival in our local county they made the following discovery;
