A county Carlow EuroMillions Plus player has won €500,000 in the latest draw.
The ticket bought in Centra, Ballon yesterday (Tuesday, 21st April) was one of two to match all five numbers (2, 9, 11, 16, 28) last night to scoop the top prize.

It was one of two winners sold in Ireland for the draw – the other at Charles Treacy, 191 Philipsburgh Avenue, Marino, Dublin 3, its holder also gets €500,000.
Meanwhile, the EuroMillions jackpot was shared by three players, two in the UK and one in France, with each winning an incredible €48,175,066.
National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, shared, “It’s a fantastic midweek result for our players in Carlow and Dublin, with two EuroMillions Plus players each picking up the top prize of €500,000. We’re urging anyone who bought a ticket in these locations to check their numbers carefully today, as two tickets are worth €500,000!”
The Tuesday night winners are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] and arrangements will be made for them to collect their prizes at Lottery Headquarters.
Tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €7.5 million.
