KCLR hurling analyst Michael Walsh says Kilkenny must show greater hunger and intensity when they face Wexford this Saturday night.
The Cats host the clash at UPMC Nowlan Park, looking to bounce back from last weekend’s heavy 3–25 to 1–16 defeat to Galway in Salthill.
Speaking on the KCLR Hurling Podcast analysis edition, Walsh said the focus should be less on tactics and more on attitude.
“I would be looking at the desire — that is the big thing. The desire has to be stronger. If the desire is there you will be amazed how other things can flow. But you’ve got to have the desire and the ability to work your socks off. You’ve got to leave everything on the pitch.”
Kilkenny will be hoping for a strong response in front of their home support as they look to get their Leinster Championship campaign back on track.
