Locally based MEP Kathleen Funchion wants to see Valerie’s Law extended across Europe

As Valerie’s Law comes before Cabinet for approval today, one locally based MEP is calling for its rollout across all European States.

The proposed legislation is named after Valerie French Kilroy, a mother of three who was killed by her husband.  If enacted it would see courts given the right to remove automatic guardianship for convicted killers.
