New county Carlow Primary Healthcare Centre gets green light

Residents in Tullow have received a major boost with the news that the go-ahead has been given for the town’s new Primary Healthcare Centre.

Carlow County Council granted planning permission for the project, which has been in the works for several years and is seen as a game changer for healthcare in the town.

It promises 13 services under the one roof including physiotherapy, chronic disease management and occupational health.

There’s no official start date for construction yet however.
