Taoiseach believes Government has to be fair to all types of family units

Government has to be fair to all family units, whatever their type. 

That’s the response from the Taoiseach to a call from Bishop for Kildare and Leiglin Denis Nulty on KCLR last week for the State to support marriage after CSO figures showed a drop in the numbers tying the knot last year.

Micheál Martin was in our locality over the weekend to attend Fianna Fáil centenary celebrations on the grounds of a windswept Carlow College St Patrick’s where KCLR News’ Dermot Keyes sought an answer to a question raised on KCLR last week by the local Bishop.
