And the Oscar goes to …

Multiple award winner Colbert Fennelly says he would love to come back to Kilkenny to work in animation in future.

The Stoneyford native has been home for a visit with many lucky locals getting their hands on the latest Oscar he won for his work on Visual Effects.

Colbert was part of the team for Avatar: Ash & Fire that collected the golden statuette in Hollywood back in March.

Today he visits the local Cartoon Saloon who are no strangers to the Oscars themselves.

And speaking on KCLR Daily he indicated that a future return to Kilkenny might be on his mind.
