The Kilkenny senior hurling team to face Dublin in Sunday’s decisive Leinster Championship clash at Parnell Park has been announced.
There is a strong spine running through the team, with Eoin Murphy in goal, Darragh Corcoran at centre-back, Cian Kenny in midfield and Reid leading the attack from full-forward.
Ivan Bolger retains his place at corner-back after making his senior championship debut earlier in the campaign, while Mikey Butler and Mikey Carey complete the full-back line.
David Blanchfield, Paddy Deegan and Corcoran are named across the half-back line, with Kenny partnered by Killian Doyle at midfield.
Further forward, Liam Moore and Eoin Cody join Tom Phelan in the half-forward line, Harry Shine, Mossy Keoghan & captain TJ Reid make up the inside forward unit.
On the bench Adrien Mullen is named, after returning from injury against Kildare while Fionnan Mackessy is a welcome addition
Kilkenny head into the game knowing a win would secure a place in the Leinster final and guarantee qualification for the All-Ireland series.
