The first of a seven-part radio series focusing on concerns and celebrations across Carlow and Kilkenny gets underway later.
The hour-long ‘Between Towns and Villages’ is presented by Brian Redmond and produced by KCLR News’ Dermot Keyes with guests and panelists before a live studio audience.
Each programme will focus on a different municipal district each month and will be broadcast from a venue at the heart of the electoral area being represented.
Beginning this evening from 7 to 9pm with the Piltown MD, from The Seantí in Kilmacow which is renowned for music gigs – owner there Ronan Dempsey says “It’s our first live radio broadcast here so we’re really, really looking forward to it”.
