Death of Kilkenny hurling great described as a ‘huge loss’

Kilkenny’s lost another hurling great.

Jim Treacy’s skill has long been lauded for the county, having captained the victorious All Ireland side against Tipperary in 1967 amid other accolades.

But his heart was with his club Bennettsbridge – Club spokesperson Alan Flynn paid tribute in conversation with KCLR News’ Edwina Grace;
