Gardaí are investigating if a spate of burglaries across county Kilkenny are in any way connected. 

All saw sheds targeted at stages across the weekend.

Power tools were taken from properties in Kilmoganny and Hugginstown (Friday night into Saturday morning).

Thomastown Garda Station’s investigating these two – anybody with information can get in touch with them there by ‘phoning 056 77 54 150.

While yesterday (Sunday, 21st June) morning at approx 3:30am an attempt was made on a shed at Coole in Ballyragget

Of particular interest in the latter is a black Audi A3 car with tinted windows and bright LED lights above its registration with up to five men understood to be onboard.

Gardaí are keen to hear of any sightings or from the men in question to rule them out of their enquires.
