Hundreds of Kilkenny city premises hit by morning power outage

Hundreds of Kilkenny city premises were hit by an ESB power outage this morning.

2,093 homes and businesses between the city centre and Templemartin were impacted by what appears to have been two faults at the electricity company’s McDonagh station which was reported just after 8am.

Most had their supply restored by 9am – if you’re still affected you should contact the ESB directly.
