Communities in Carlow and Wicklow left devastated by death of local man

Communities across Carlow and Wicklow have been left devastated by the death of a local man in a crash over the weekend.

On Sunday morning a car and motorbike were in collision on the R448 Carlow Kilkenny Road at Leighlinbridge with the motorcyclist airlifted to hospital in Dublin.

He was pronounced dead there and has since been named as family man Darell Nolan, orginally from the Tullow area and resident in Boleybawn, Tinahely.
