A Carlow Kilkenny TD says women affected by endometriosis deserve proper healthcare, citing a chronic lack of healthcare for the one in ten women affected by the condition.
Sinn Fein’s Natasha Newsome Drennan has criticised long waiting times for a diagnosis and specialist treatment, stating that women’s healthcare remains on the bottom rung of the ladder.
Her party are carrying out a nationwide survey and will use the feedback to host a series of regional meetings ahead of a major national conference on the condition this autumn.
