One person was taken to hospital following a crash in south Kilkenny last evening.
At approx 5:30pm, two cars were in collision at Cloone on the N25 Waterford city bypass.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene and a stretch of the route was closed for a time.
A man aged in his thirties was taken to University Hospital Waterford for injuries which have been describe as non-life-threatening.
A Garda spokesperson’s told KCLR News that “enquiries are ongoing” – anybody with information or who saw what happened should contact their local Garda station.
