Emergency services are attending a “serious incident” on the rail line between Thurles and Limerick Junction.
Irish Rail says trains are suspended until further notice.

The route forms part of the busy Heuston to Cork mainline, with services between the capital, Kerry and Limerick likely to also be affected.
