Gardaí are keen to track down the occupants of a specific car to rule them out of their investigations into a burglary at a home on the outskirts of Kilkenny city.
It happened between 12.30 and 12.45pm on Wednesday at The Sycamores on the Freshford Road.
Investigators are particularly interested in the movements of a silver Volvo saloon partial reg 12-D which was spotted in the area at the time and they’re keen to speak to its occupants.
Crime Prevention Officer Sgt Eddie Brennan has this appeal; “Anyone that was in the Freshford Road/Sycamores any time there between probably 12 and 1pm, that vehicle may have been in the area before and after that timeline, so we’d be very keen for anyone that has dashcam footage or anyone that was maybe on foot around the Sycamores or the Freshford Road or also if they were driving there, they may have noticed a silver saloon Volvo car and we’re very keen to have anyone that has any information in relation to the movements of that car”.
