Carlow town bus service public consultation window open

If there’s somewhere you think Carlow town bus should serve, you’ve a chance to see it added.

A Public Consultation window’s been opened into the provision which since 2023 has seen one million passengers take up its two route offering.

Councillor Fintan Phelan is appealing for people to engage with the process to further improve the service with submissions to the NVA’s online portal before 5pm on the 2nd of November. (You’ll find the portal here).

The Fianna Fail representative believes there’s a demand for a third route with further expansion into urban and residential areas on the existing ones, as he’s been outlining to KCLR News’ Owain Comerford;
