Primary schools in Carlow and Kilkenny urged to sign up to the Blue Star Programme

Primary schools locally are being encouraged to sign up to the Blue Star Programme.

The initiative teaches children about the European Union through history, geography, culture and the EU institutions.

Six schools in Carlow and eight in Kilkenny took part last year.

The programme is free, with schools receiving digital and physical resources. (Find details here).
